There are more connections between art and science than you would imagine. Leonardo da Vinci is a prime example of an artist who had an influence on the development of science. Artists such as James Turrell, Orlan, Tony Smith, Simon Patterson, Walter della Maria and Sol leWitt have all tried to link art, science and maths.
