enjoy exploring!

Exploration and fun are key to art and design. Use a sketchbook as a visual diary, recording things you see using pencil, pen, paint and photos. Keep images, adverts, logos and graphics you find interesting - you can use them later for inspiration for designs, paintings and sculptures.

There are plenty of fun things to do on-line involving art and design - keep an eye on this page as new links will be added all the time.

Try using Photoshop, Gimp, Painter IX or PaintshopPro to alter images you have of family and friends. Modify games characters to show your face. Take a digital photo of where you live and transform it into an alien landscape using different colours and filters. Use a screenshot from a game and place yourself in it! Re-style your favourite stars and change their clothes digitally.

Play around with 3D modelling software and design your own cars and gadgets. Create your ideal mobile phone - personal and unique to you!

Explore galleries and designer collections on-line - each page has hidden links to interesting sites around the world.
