be creative!

In S1 you will start to learn how to talk and write about art + design. You will practice forming your own opinions and backing them up with evidence.

The visual elements of tone, colour, line, proportion, form, shape, texture and composition will be introduced.

If you want an idea of critical activity (art and design history) in 3rd year and beyond, check out this page for starters...

If this is an area you are interested in, there are plenty of programmes on BBC TV (BBC4 mainly), iPlayer and Channel4/4OD. If you have SkyArts there are often art and design programmes.

Also use the latest and blog links in the side menu to find all the latest updates from Twitter and various newspapers.
